What apps did I install and why?

let's go:

  • The "mygov.scot" is an official service from the Scottish Government;
  • When you register on mygovscot, you can choose your city council and connect to the available services;
  • The Yoti service - this is the identification of residents by QR code and the issuance of a plastic card, National Identity Card of a British citizen - Citizen Card;
    I use the Citizen Card as a BRP if I need to fly inside the UK.
  • Medical insurance outside the UK, free card, registration through the GOV UK;
  • Plastic cards, named for Subway and Scotrail;
  • Buses, taxis;
  • Council Tax account to view your taxes and pay online;
  • Electricity/gas supplier, ability to communicate, top up, see balances, etc.
  • Registration with three credit agencies to see and form a credit history;
  • Registration to participate in voting - electorate;
  • College, language learning, speaking, courses;
  • Confirmation of Ukrainian diploma through Jobcenter;
  • Find and become an official Volunteer in an official, local organization, to have an official document about it and its characteristics;
  • Set a goal - to collect characteristics about your volunteering, work, etc..
  • Find a speaking club - start building communication there;
  • Have a powerful phone and be able to use Google Maps.
